a) DEPARTMENT PROFILE:
The District Town and Country Planning Offices have established as per G.O.Ms.No.292 Finance (SMPC) Dept. Dated 24.10.2005 and functioning of this office from 01.03.2007 The District Town and Country Planning Officers have to work at the District Head Quarters along with Supporting Staff.
The government accorded sanction of certain the following posts of DTCPO,TPA, Surveyors and Senior Assistant in fill up regular staff and BPO, Survey Assistant and CAD Operator posts shall be outsourced to a private Agency.
The Director of Town and Country Planning, A.P, Hyderabad has issued delegation of powers vide Procg.Roc.No.7284/07/P3, dt.08.08.2007 and modified the delegations from time to time at present the below delegations of powers followed by the DTO’s.
Technical Matters :-
The District Town and Country Planning Office, shall prepare ILUP for villages of more than 5000 less than 10,000 populations ( except Mandal Head Quarters) and submit to head office for approval.
DPMS :-
As per instructions of the Director of Town and Country Planning, Govt of A.P, Guntur this office has been obtained information from the Municipal Commissioners regarding ULB Wise DPMS post Verification, short fall and revoked files and field verification on shortfall / revoked files and report submitted to the Director of Town and Country Planning, Govt of A.P., Guntur.
BPS :-
As per orders of the Director of Town and Country Planning Office, Govt of A.P, Guntur, this office has conducted inspections and submitted the status of BPS applications in all ULB’s UDA’s for taking further action.
Inspections :-
As per target fix by the Director of Town and Country Planning, Govt of A.P, Guntur, this office has conducted Annual Inspections of G.P’s two per month. This office has verified and take measurements of new constructed buildings Compared with sanctioned plans issued by concerned Authority and instructions issued to concerned Panchayat Secretaries to take action, aware people for Layout/Building rules and issue necessary approvals as per G.O.Ms.No.67 PR&RD, dated.16-02-2002.
Awareness Programmes/ Work shop :-
This office has been conducted awareness programmes with Sarpanch / Panchayat Secretary at Mandal level 1 per month relating to layout / Building rules as per G.O.Ms.No. 67 PR&RD, Dated.26.02.2002.
Proposals :-
Technical clearance of Layouts upto 1.00 Hectars Building permissions more than 3 floors or 9.00 Mts Height in an extent not exceeding 450 Sqmts in G.P’s and approved of all Industrial cases with investment upto 10.00 crors in plant and Machinery cost (irrespective of HP).
