There are two offices are functioning under the control of the Director of Works Accounts, Vijayawada consisting with the Government of A.P, Finance Works Accounts Department. They are
This office scrutinize /audit and approve for payment in a transparent way for the Work bills pertaining to Projects, Land Acquisition and R&R taken up by various Engineering Departments like Irrigation, Panchayat Raj, Rural Water Supply (RWS), Public Health and Corporations i.e APSPHCL, APEWIDC, APSHCL, etc., of Government of Andhra Pradesh.
This office monitors the bills through CFMS which are submit by DDO concerned and conduct the proper scrutiny of work bills in this office with the existing Codal Rules along with the latest orders issued by the Government from time to time, according to that the bills are approved for payment. The payments authorized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh through E-Kuber to the Contractors/Agencies concerned Bank Accounts. At all these stages the information and status of the bill is available to public in a transparent manner through internet in CFMS. The deficiencies related to bills can be viewed on line by the DDO concerned immediately after the scrutiny completed by this office and the requirements can be fulfilled by him.
The Government will have accurate figures of pending bills instantly through this online system and can take timely decision for authorization of bills which are ready for payment.
