The full time District Consumer Forum was established on 16-11-1991 under the provisions of Consumer Protection Act in the Collectorate compound, Nellore for speedy and cheepest expenditure, to redress the grievances of consumers.

District Consumer Forum is in the district level, the Hon’ble State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, A.P.Vijayawada is in the state level and the Hon’ble National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, New Delhi is in the national wide were set up for speedy and cheapest remedy to redress the grievances of consumers.

One President not below the rank of District Judge, one male Member and one Female Member will conduct the bench sittings and redress the grievances of the consumers, in the District Consumer Forum, Nellore.
