In our department we handle the registration of documents, collecting stamp duty, marriage registrations, chit funds, forms and society registration. No matter how many problems are solved, new problems arise. These issues also vary by region. We have thousands of registrations in our Registration Department, we give copies of lakhs of ECs and we do hundreds of wedding registrations. Hundreds of Society Registration and Forms Registration Co-ordinating With the Revenue Department, Municipality Department, Panchayti Raj Department, CRDA Department, NIC with your land, Bhoodhar connecting with the ‘e’ operating system, Net Banking and CFMS, hundreds of crores of revenue is being acquired by the government. It is only natural that we get some goodies done by digitizing the record of 150 years in our registration department and storing it in the database.
Deputy Inspector General is the Head of the District administration which consists of 1 district. He is disciplinary authority for the Sub-Registrars and Senior Assistants. For administrative convenience are created in the State.
District Registrar is the Head of the Registration District. He is the overall in charge of the district administration. He is the appointing authority for Junior Assistants and the other lower category staff. The DR is the Registration authority for Societies and Firms, Deputy Registrar of Chits in the district. Sub District Level:
There are 19 Sub-districts (Sub-Registrar offices) across the State. Each Registrar Sub-district is headed by a Sub-Registrar. The Sub-Registrar registers the documents issues. He is also the Registrar of Marriages under the Hindu marriages Act and Marriage Officer under the Special Marriage Act.
