INTEGRATED TRIBAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (ITDA – YANADIS)
B. Regulatory Acts, GOs and rules that are being followed and implemented in day-to day functioning.
- As per GO.Ms.No.136 & 60 and Memorandum of Association, ITDA for Yanadis was established in the year 2002 headquarters at Nellore registered under Societies Registration Act and for preparation of perspective plan for the development of Yanadis living in Nellore, Chittoor, Prakasam & YSR Kadapa Districts and implementation of both academic and livelihood schemes.
- ITDA (Yanadis) shall have immediate administrative control over the Agriculture, Horticulture and Livestock Farms, Demonstration units, Schools and Hostels etc., belongs to Yanadis which are being financed by T.W. Department. The DTWO is redesignated as APO (TW)
- ITDA shall have Statutory Governing Body which consists of Officials & Non Officials to Govern the entire administration of ITDA (Yanadis).
C. Schemes:
- As per GO.Ms.No.101, guidelines issued to implement various off-farm and on-farm activities. Accordingly, as per the approved annual action plan, previously i.e. prior to 2019, various livelihood schemes have implemented with Bank Linkage providing loan portion from Bank and subsidy from TRICOR.
- GO.Ms.No.72 (NSTFDC): Under NSTFDC, various transport and other individual units are being sanctioned to the STs providing subsidy from TRICOR and Term loan from NSTFDC and with beneficiary contribution. Those whoever availed the units under NSTFDC scheme, they have to repay their Term loan to the TRICOR in 60 instalments i.e. 5 Years.
- SCA to TSS (Special Central Assistance to Tribal Sub Scheme): Besides implementing schemes viz., Bank linkage & NSTFDC, various activities under Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries & other livelihood schemes are also implementing in convergence with Line Departmental support i.e. 40% ITDA + 50% Line Departments + 10% BC with the approved action plans under SCA to TSS.
- Rythu Bharosa – It is one of the schemes of erstwhile Govt. under Navarathnalu Programme. Under the scheme, every year, an amount of Rs.13500/- is being transferring to the individual Farmer’s Bank Account directly in two spells.
- Forest Rights Act, 2006 (RoFR): An Act to recognize and vest the forest rights and occupation in forest land in forest dwelling Scheduled Tribes and other traditional forest dwellers who have been residing in such forests for generations but whose rights could not be recorded; to provide for a framework for recording the forest rights so vested and the nature of evidence required for such recognition and vesting in respect of forest land. recognised rights of the forest dwelling Scheduled Tribes and other traditional forest dwellers include the responsibilities and authority for sustainable use, conservation of biodiversity and maintenance of ecological balance and thereby strengthening the conservation regime of the forests while ensuring livelihood and food security of the forest dwellings Scheduled Tribes and other traditional forest dwellers.
- PM Van Dhan Vikas Yojana (PMVDVK): As a measure to support MFP market development and ensuring fair returns to the tribal MFP gatherers, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA) is implementing the scheme on “Mechanism for marketing of Minor Forest Produce (MFP) through Minimum Support Price (MSP) and development of Value chair for MFP. The scheme is an initiative targeting livelihood generation for tribals by harnessing the wealth of forest i.e. Van Dhan. The programme aims to tap into traditional knowledge & skill sets of tribals by adding technology & IT to upgrade it at each stage and to convert the tribal wisdom into a viable economic activity.
- Skill Development & Youth Training Programme: In coordination with the APSSDC and TRICOR, various training programmes Viz. Retail Associates, Computer Hardware, Hospitality, Data Entry Operator, Installation Technician, Banking /RRB, General Duty Attendant, Pre-Police Recruitment Training, Electrician, Tally, Front Office Executive, Plumbing, Painter, Jute Bag Making, LMV Driving, Ms-Office, Multimedia and DSC etc., are being provided to the un-employed ST youth at Youth Training Centre established at Venkatachalam through reputed training partners and providing placements in various public & private sectors.
