జిల్లా నీటి యాజమాన్య సంస్థ (డ్వామా)
ఎ) శాఖ / సంస్థ గురించి పరిచయం:
జిల్లా నీటి యాజమాన్య సంస్థ [డ్వామ] ప్రత్యెక ప్రతిపత్తి గల సంస్థగా 2011 సం||లొ జిల్లా గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి సంస్థ నుండి వేరు చేయబడినది. వాటర్ షెడ్ ఆధారంగా మానవ మరియుసహజ వనరుల అభివృద్ధిని పర్యవేక్షించుట దీని ముఖ్య ఉద్దేశ్యo.
జిల్లా కార్యక్రమ సమన్వయకర్త జిల్లా కలెక్టరు గారి నేతృత్వములో పథక సంచాలకులు, ఈ సంస్థ కార్యకలాపాలను పర్యవేక్షిస్తారు.
మహాత్మా గాంధి జాతీయ గ్రామీణ ఉపాధి హామీ పథకం శ్రీ పొట్టి శ్రీరాములు నెల్లూరు జిల్లాలోగల 37మండలాల్లో జీవనోపాధి భద్రతను పెంపొందించుటకై, ప్రతి కుటుంబానికి ఒక ఆర్ధిక సంవత్సరంలో 100 రోజుల ఉపాధిని కల్పిస్తున్నది. కుటుంబంలో ఎవరైతే వయోజనుడై, నైపుణ్యం లేని వారై, శారీరక శ్రమ పడటానికి సిద్ధమై ఉంటారో వారికి ఈ పథకం ఉద్దేశ్యించబడినది .
ఈ పథకం యొక్క మరొక ఉద్దేశ్యం రహదారులు, కాలువలు, చెరువులు వంటి దీర్ఘకాలిక స్థిరాస్తులను నిర్మింపచేయడం. ఇంకా సాగునీరు, కరువు నివారణ మరియు వరద నిరోధం వంటివాటికి కూడా ప్రాధాన్యత కల్పించబడినది.
ఈ పథకాన్ని అమలు చేయు సంస్థలు 721గ్రామ పంచాయతీలలో అమలు చేయబడుతున్నది.
